Terms of Use

1. Accepting these terms

By using this website or submitting any form on it, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Who can use the site

You must be at least 18 years old to submit a booking request or roster application. Anyone under 18 may join the Academy waitlist or enroll only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian. If you submit a form for a company or another person, you confirm that you are authorized to do so.

3. Booking requests

A booking request is not a confirmed booking. Submitting the booking form does not reserve a date, DJ, or price, and it does not create a contract.

• After you submit a request, we will reply with availability and a quote.
• A booking is confirmed only when you sign our written booking agreement and pay any required deposit. That agreement covers pricing, deposits, cancellations, rescheduling, equipment, and other event details. If it conflicts with these Terms, the booking agreement controls.
• Requesting a specific DJ does not guarantee that DJ. If your preferred DJ is unavailable, we may suggest alternatives, which you are free to decline.
• Prices and budget ranges shown or discussed before a signed agreement are estimates only.

4. DJ profiles and content

DJ profiles, bios, photos, mixes, and genres are provided by or about our DJs and are for general information only. We try to keep them accurate, but availability, genres, and other details can change. Profiles marked “Sample profile” are placeholders and do not represent real DJs.

5. The Academy

Joining the waitlist does not enroll you in a course or reserve a spot, and it does not require payment. Course details, prices, schedules, and refund terms will be provided at enrollment and may be covered by a separate enrollment agreement. Prices shown on this site may change.

Roster acceptance is based on meeting our performance standards. Completing a course, workshop, or mentorship does not guarantee bookings or representation. We do not guarantee any particular result, skill level, income, bookings, or career outcome from any Academy program.

6. Roster applications

Submitting an application does not create any agency, employment, or representation relationship, and we have no obligation to accept, respond to, or explain decisions on any application. By applying, you confirm that the mixes, links, and information you share are your own or that you have permission to share them, and you allow us to review and listen to them to evaluate your application. Any representation will be set out in a separate written agreement.

7. Member accounts and profiles

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your password secure and for everything posted from your account. One account per person, and any DJ or Music Maker profile must be yours. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, and by signing up you confirm that you are. We may close any account we believe belongs to someone under 18.

• Profiles are reviewed before they appear publicly. We may approve, decline, hide, or remove any profile, photo, mix, or update at our discretion, including content that is inaccurate, offensive, or infringes someone else's rights.
• Content rules. Photos, videos, mixes, links, and updates must not contain nudity, sexually explicit or suggestive content, violence, gore, weapons used to threaten, hate speech, harassment, or anything promoting illegal activity. We remove content that breaks these rules and may close the account without notice.
• Only upload photos you own or have permission to use, and only link to mixes and videos you are allowed to share.
• You keep ownership of your content. By adding it to your profile, you give Angel Eyes Unlimited LLC d/b/a PopGirly a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and promote it on this website and our social media channels for as long as it stays on your profile, and for a reasonable time after you remove it.
• Having an approved profile does not create an employment, agency, or representation relationship and does not guarantee any bookings. Bookings are arranged by PopGirly, and any representation is set out in a separate written agreement.
• Client contact details stay with PopGirly. You agree not to use the profile to arrange bookings that avoid us.
• Music Maker profiles are a showcase, not a booking service. If you contact a Music Maker, or are contacted through your profile's social links, any collaboration is between you and the other person. PopGirly is not a party to it and is not responsible for it.
• You can ask us to delete your account and profile at any time by emailing bookings@popgirly.com.

8. Information you submit

You agree that the information you submit is accurate and that you have the right to share it. Do not submit anything unlawful, misleading, or that infringes someone else's rights. If you send us a testimonial, feedback, or ideas, you allow us to use them to run and promote PopGirly. We will ask before publishing your name alongside a testimonial.

9. Intellectual property

The PopGirly name, logo, website design, and text are owned by Angel Eyes Unlimited LLC d/b/a PopGirly or used with permission. You may not copy, modify, or use them for commercial purposes without our written permission. Mixes, videos, photos, and other material from our DJs or third parties belong to their respective owners.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the site for any unlawful purpose, or to harass, spam, or impersonate anyone.
• Submit false booking requests or applications.
• Contact our DJs through the site to arrange bookings that avoid PopGirly.
• Attempt to disrupt, hack, or overload the site, or scrape it with automated tools.

11. Third-party services

The site includes links to, and embedded content from, services such as SoundCloud, Mixcloud, YouTube, and Instagram. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Your use of them is governed by their own terms.

12. Disclaimers

The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Angel Eyes Unlimited LLC d/b/a PopGirly and its owners, staff, and DJs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this website. Our total liability for any claim related to the website is limited to $100. This section does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law, and liability for booked events is governed by the booking agreement.

14. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify Angel Eyes Unlimited LLC d/b/a PopGirly against claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the site, your violation of these Terms, or content you submit that infringes someone else's rights.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about these Terms or the website will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after changes means you accept the updated Terms. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
